FUQUAY-VARINA, North Carolina (May 28, 2020) – Fidelity Bank is pleased to announce that Steve McDowell has joined its mortgage division, Right By You Mortgage, as Mortgage Business Development Officer. In his new position, Mr. McDowell is responsible for increasing the market share of Right By You Mortgage by developing relationships with Real Estate Partners and Bank Partners. He will work to ensure that industry partners have a positive experience working with Right By You Mortgage. Steve serves Raleigh, Durham, Cary and Chapel Hill. His office is located at the Right By You Mortgage office located at 3333 Durham-Chapel Hill Boulevard, Suite A-101 in Durham, North Carolina.
Steve has over twenty years of mortgage experience in the Triangle. Prior to joining Right By You Mortgage, he worked for On Q Financial as a Branch Manager. He also held Branch Manager positions at WR Starkey Mortgage and Bank of America. In addition to his mortgage background, Steve is active in the community. He is a member of the Home Builders Association of Durham, Orange and Chatham Counties, the Home Builders Association of Wake County and the Durham Regional Association of Realtors.
Mr. McDowell graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science in Electronic and Computer Engineering and minor in Business. He currently resides in Durham, North Carolina with his wife, Della, and has two children.
